How long does it take to list a property?

We can have your home listed on the MLS within 24 hours of signing listing documents.  However, this is not serving you well.

Our goal (and most often, your goal) is to get the highest possible sale price, in the shortest time frame.  As they say, “You never get a second chance to make a first impression.”  For this reason, we recommend an appropriate runway to ensure sure your property listing launches well, displaying your home in its best light.

At Elevation Real Estate, we do marketing right, and doing things right takes time!  Here’s an ideal lead up schedule to launching your property listing on the MLS:

  •  4 Weeks before going live: Initial walkthrough, information gathering, analysis preparation
  •  3 Weeks before going live: Analysis Presented & Listing Agreement Signed
  •  2 Weeks before going live: Initial Staging Consultation
  •  1 Week before going live: Staging Implemented (furniture, décor, redesign or adjustments)
  •  3 Days before going live: Professional Photography, drone, video & 3D Matterport tour
  • 2 Days before going live: Print material order (feature sheets, postcards)
  • 1 Days before going live: Social media ad campaign prepared (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
  • Listing Goes Live!

We want your property listing to shine, from day one!  Of course, in special cases, this timeline can be fast-tracked, but why not plan ahead and set yourself up for success!
